Obituary of James Myron Siebert

James 'Jimmy' Myron Siebert, 71, died on June 6, after complications from a stroke suffered in 2013. He is survived by his loving wife, Vicky Ley, daughters Melissa Weiss (Meredith Weiss) and Joanna Siebert (Ida Daniels); brothers Mark (Jenny) & David Siebert; sisters Sandy (Ron) Devine & Sally Fish; grandsons Lennon & Dylan Weiss, as well as several nieces & nephews. Jimmy, a Vietnam War Veteran, was one of the most legendary & respected figures in the automotive industry. Whether he was buying or selling cars, or managing or owning car dealerships, he loved every second of it. He was the best of the best in his field. Jimmy was a son, brother, significant other, and a friend. He loved his golf, his chapstick, his watches, his Red Bull, his cigarettes, his hair, and most importantly, his family and friends. Those who knew him will remember well his larger-than-life personality, his orneriness, and his sense of humor. He never met a stranger and always accepted people for who they were. He lived, laughed, and loved with every essence of his being. His life was never mundane, always an adventure, and he made it what he wanted it to be. He will be greatly missed. Friends and family may call on Wednesday, 4-6:30 pm, at the Anthony Funeral Home MCGOWAN-REID & SANTOS CHAPEL 247 Stow Ave. (at 3rd. St., one block north of Portage Trail in) Cuyahoga Falls. A memorial service to celebrate Jimmy's life will immediately follow. (Anthony Funeral Homes, CUYAHOGA FALLS, 330.928.1313, anthonyfh.com)
