Obituary of Lucille Laux

Lucille Laux, 99, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Akron City Hospital. She was born in Bryant, Indiana and was a secretary for Brown Communications with 20 years of service. She was a resident of Chapel Hill Towers for many years and made many friends there. Special thank you from her niece, Karen Cain to all of her friends for their friendship, care and concern. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Edward and Suzanne (Remaklaus) Laux; brothers, Bernard and James Laux; and sisters, Mary Mehok, Cathy Crusey, Aurelia Higginbotham, Rosina Laux, and Cordula Gehrlich. She is survived by her sister, Martha Lauterbur; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, 7 p.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church, 1580 Brown St. Akron, Ohio 44301 where friends may call from 6:30 p.m. until time of service.
