Obituary of Janet M Rawson

-CUYAHOGA FALLS Janet Rawson, 92, went home to be with the Lord on March 16, 2015. Born in Akron on January 4, 1923, to the late Howard & Dorothy Bales, Janet had been a lifelong resident of Cuyahoga Falls and a 1941 graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School. She retired as a dental assistant and was a former member of the Akron Dental Assistants Society. She was a longtime faithful member of the First Christian Church of Cuyahoga Falls. In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her brothers Richard & James Bales and sister Mary Katherine Bales. She is survived by her loving husband of 72 years Rollin 'Rocky' Rawson; children Linda (Ron) Reichert, Susan (Glen) Witsaman, Cynthia Rawson, & Brian (Val) Rawson; grandchildren Stacie (Larry) Kelley, Christine (Ted) Rusinoff, Leanne (Eric) Flory, Joshua (Lauren) Witsaman, Andrea (Nick) Luke, Glenna (Rolf) Moss, Holly (Mike) Gentile, Glen (Brenda) Witsaman, & Brian Fitzpatrick; 'adopted daughter' Patty Fitzpatrick; sisters-in-law Juanita Doring & Ruth Rawson, as well as many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and nieces & nephews. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Hospice of Summa for their loving and compassionate Care. The family will receive friends on Sunday, 4-6 pm, at the Anthony Funeral Home MCGOWAN-REID & SANTOS CHAPEL 247 Stow Ave. (at 3rd. St., one block north of Portage Trail in) Cuyahoga Falls. Funeral services will take place on Monday, 12:00 pm at the First Christian Church, 2253 3rd. St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221, where the family will again receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
