Obituary of Dolores Welker

Dolores Welker, 88, went home to be with her Lord on February 18, 2015. Born in Akron on April 28, 1926 to the late Joseph & Emma Mosser, Dolores was a lifetime resident and a graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School. She worked at the Summit County Courthouse in her early years and later as a bookeeper. She was a longtime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Dolores loved music and singing in German. She loved the simple things in life as well as spending time with her seven grandchildren & ten great-grandchildren, including two sets of twins. In addition to her parents, Dolores was preceded in death by her brother Lawrence Mosser. She leaves behind daughters Jean (Mike) Krieger, Alice (Ron) Marusiak, Dianne (Anthony) Fisco, and Carol (Allen) Owiesny; sister Esther (Mike) Koval, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. The family will receive friends on Sunday, 4-7 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home MCGOWAN-REID & SANTOS CHAPEL, 247 Stow Ave. (at Third St., one block north of Portage Trail in) Cuyahoga Falls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Jarred Orndorf on Monday, 10:00 am, at St. Joseph Catholic Church 1761 Second St. in Cuyahoga Falls.
