Obituary of Lawrence Dague

Lawrence Dague, 69, passed away unexpectedly on February 15, 2015 at his home. Larry was born in Akron on June 23, 1945 to the late Robert and Josephine Dague. He married Jennifer Lassiter in 1965 and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. for 39 and 1/2 years. Larry was a proud husband, father, and grandfather, and he will be greatly missed. In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his sister-in-law Janet Whittington-Rudolph. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Jenny; children Cathy Dague Barry, and Bob & wife Kristie Dague; grandsons Dylan & Ryan Dague; sister-in-law Mary Lou Lassiter; brother-in-law John Lassiter; along with nieces Kimberly (Patrick) Babcock, Ellen (John) Collier, Beth (Randy) Petrich, and Amy Lassiter. The family will receive friends and family on Thursday from 5-8 PM at the Anthony Funeral Home, Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, February 20 at the funeral home, with interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery immediately following.
