My deep condolences to the entire family. I am still not over the shock of Dr Bob's passing. I've been thinking about him so much the last few days. And though there have been many tears shed, I find myself laughing to tears more. We shared so many good times. I will miss his physical presence, but I know he lives on. He is and will always be my friend.

Bob was a special educator.I have contact with many of his former students and they all say the same thing. He was their favorite teacher. What a great loss to future students. He should have had several years left to do what he loved best.He was still very young.

You have left us way too soon, Bob. I consider it an honor and a privilege to have been your colleague at Walsh University. I will remember best your passion for teaching and helping others grow in their knowledge. Your dedication was an inspiration for all of us, as was the fact that you truly cared for others and showed it every day. Your positive impact on so many young teachers will guarantee that your influence will last forever. God speed my good friend. After the clouds, the sunshine; after the winter, the spring; after the shower, the rainbow; for life is a changeable thing. After the night, the morning, bidding all darkness cease, after life's cares and sorrows, the comfort and sweetness of peace. - Helen Steiner Rice

To the Dunnerstick family: Words cannot even begin to express the sadness in my heart at the untimely passing of Bob. He was such a special person in my life. As my former superintendent at Lake, he helped me so much when my mom passed away on Dec. 6, 1993. When we worked together at Walsh, he was my biggest cheerleader. He helped me to see in myself those hidden talents which even I did not see. His encouragement and belief have turned me into the educator, mentor and friend, that, hopefully, I am to others today. Every Nov. 5, he would remind me that he and my mom shared mutual birthdays. I loved him deeply for his heart for his family and for his students. I cannot even imagine this life without this outstanding human being and friend. God bless you all! Barb Ewing Cockroft
