Obituary of Dorothy C. Adams

Dorothy Adams, beloved and devoted daughter, sister, and aunt went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, March 23, 2012 in Irving, Texas. She was born in Detroit, Michigan, on January 18, 1918 to Desa and Dina (Adams) Adamov. She was a member of the St. Demetrius Serbian Church in Akron, Ohio. Dorothy worked at General Tire for 38 years. She loved her church, her family and the sport of golf. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Mike Adams, and sister Mary Eletich. She leaves behind sister Donna Church, nieces Mitzi Woy (Bucky) and Dorothy Carroll from Texas. Nephews Danny Eletich (Debbie) of Wadsworth, Jim Eletich of Akron, Bill Church (Lynda) and Mark Church (Cheryl), both of Silver Lake, many great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. Her family adored her and will miss her greatly. A celebration of her faith and life will be held Monday 11:00 am at the Anthony Funeral Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. with Rev. Fr. George Mileusnich officiating. Interment Lakewood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday 1 to 4 pm at the funeral home where a Parastas Service will be held at 3:00 pm.
