Obituary of Richard M. Hicks

Richard M. Hicks, 71 passed away unexpectedly Monday, September 20, 2010. He was born in Orgas, WV and had been an area resident most of his life. He was a a veteran of the Marines and had been employed in quality control at B&W. He was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, National Muzzleloader Rifle Assoc., Canal Fulton Ramrod Club, Zeppelin Rifle and Pistol Club, North Lawrence Fish and Game Club, Ohio Long Rifle Club and had been secretary of the National Rifle Club. Richard was preceded in death by his wife Martha, son Steven and brother Ronald and is survived by his children Jeff (Rhonda) Hicks, Mike (Kari) Hicks and Julie (Kevin) Patrick; brother Roger (Delores) Hicks; 12 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren. A funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday 10:00am at St. Francis de Sales Church. Interment will be held at Greensburg Cemetery.
