Obituary of Mary Ann Feeney

Mary Ann Feeney, 68, passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2010. She was born in Akron and had been a school teacher with the Akron Board of Education for 10 years. She enjoyed reading and was also a library volunteer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Slavo and Christina Velickoff; and brother, Edward. She is survived by her husband, John; sons, Michael (Roseanne) and Robert; brother, Franklin (Joann) Velickoff; sister-in-law, Judy (Floyd) Ackerman; and grandson, Ty Feeney. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, 1 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron. Very Rev. Fr. Nicholas Wyslutsky officiating. Interment at St. Nicholas Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
