I met MaryAnn in a bookstore about 10 years ago. She is the type of person who makes you feel like you've known her forever. We shared many joys and sorrows, discussed and exchanged many books and had great conversations over breakfast. You are my forever friend MaryAnn and I will never stop missing you. .

Oh, I cannot begin to tell you how sad I am at the news that my friend, Mary Ann, has passed from this earth into Heaven. Mary Ann and I began kindergarten together at Goodrich grade school; continued through Jr. High and high school at Garfield. Since our last names were so close in the alphabet, we were ALWAYS nearby each other and she will, forever, be mind's eye when I think of those days. We used to go "begging" at Halloween, too. I have been trying to find her but didn't know her married name and I'm talking within the past two months -- and now to have "her find me" via an obituary notice. Oh, I'm just too, too sad as I was hoping she'd attend the 50th class reunion of Garfield so I could hug her and tell her how much she's always meant to me. Jean Walker Colson formerly of Bertha Ave. -- just down 5th Avenue hill from Mary Ann's house...now of Bradenton, FL
