Obituary of Sax Paul

Paul E. Sax, previously of Tallmadge, died May 4, 2007 at Akron City Hospital. Mr. Sax was born April 10,1924 in Akron, a son of William G. and Anna M. Sax. He retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber as a painter after 14 years of service and was a veteran of the US Marines during WWII. He leaves daughters, June Lynn(Dave) Seaver of Findley and Janice Lee(John) Finan of Cuyahoga Falls; sister Evelyn Sax of Stow; grandchildren John, Ted, Chris, Colleen, and Jeff; great-grandchildren Diana and Ronnie. He was preceded in death by his parents and wives, Zetta (Skeen) and Myrl (Cheek) Sax; sister Eleanor Brown and brothers Bill and Carl. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00 pm at The McGowan-Reid & Santos Funeral Home (corner of Stow Ave. and 3rd St. in the Falls), where the family will receive friends for two hours prior to the service. Entombment will take place at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Donations in Paul's memory may be made to The American Lung Association. He will be sadly missed by his friends and family.
