Obituary of William Arthur Hinkle

William Arthur Hinkle, Sr. beloved father and grandfather passed away unexpectedly May 4th, 2007. He follows his cherished wife of 53 years, Wilma Marjorie Hinkle, having shared their life and love, their joys and sorrows. Bill is survived by his three children Janine (Scott) Lundgren of Green, Carla (David) Camp of Kent and Bill (Blair Barnhart) Hinkle Jr. of Shaker Heights. He is also survived by his four grandchildren, Zachary (Paula) Lundgren, Brian Lundgren, Marissa Lundgren and Mitchell Barnhart. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1932, he was one of five children born to Ethel and Arthur Hinkle. He is also survived by his sisters Betty Burns, Katie Sievers both of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and brothers Jim (Roseanne) Hinkle of Grabill, Indiana, and Barry Hinkle of Marietta, Georgia. Bill worked for Lockheed Martin (fka Loral Defense Systems, fka Goodyear Aerospace) for nearly 40 years, working in aircraft simulation. Bill was a long-time and faithful member of Firestone Park United Methodist Church, having served in numerous capacities. In addition, he volunteered his talents to Habitat for Humanity and in the Reminiscence Unit of Sunrise Assisted Living, Cuyahoga Falls. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Firestone Park United Methodist Church in his name. Calling hours are 4-8pm, Wednesday at Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Funeral Home at 95 W. Waterloo Rd. Funeral services, officiated by Pastor Max Beery, will be Thursday at 11 am at Firestone Park United Methodist Church, where the family will receive friends from 10am until the time of service.
