Obituary of Verginia Ann Supina
Verginia Ann Supina, 93, passed away on April 28 surrounded by her loving family at her daughter's home.
Born in Akron in 1913, Verginia had been a lifetime area resident. She worked as a lab technician for The B.F. Goodrich Tire & Rubber Co., retiring in 1977 with 45 years of service. She was a former member of Dormition Catholic Church and a current member of St. Francis DeSales Parish. One of her greatest joys was cooking and baking for her family.
Verginia was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Joe, in 2000; brothers George Dionisio, Hugo Dinie, and Ralph Dinie and sister Elizabeth Spinelli. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Sharlene and Curtis Coffield and JoEtte and Stan Olesky; grandchildren and grandson-in-law Aniela and David Whisler, Jessica Nykaza, and Andrew Olesky; great-grandchildren Corrine Nykaza and Eliza Whisler.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5-8 pm at The Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Funeral Home 95 W. Waterloo Rd. Funeral services will begin Wednesday at the funeral home at 11:30 and continue at 12:00 pm at St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations in Verginia's memory may be made to The Hospice of Visiting Nurse Service.
