Obituary of Harriet H. Wild

Harriet H. Wild, 104, died on Saturday, June 16th at the Bruening Heath Center at Judson Park in Cleveland, Ohio. Mrs. Wild had lived at Bruening for over a year and had lived in the Judson Manor for 5 years before that. She was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Wild, and her brother, James Hosmer. She is survived by her 4 children, Paul (Sally) of Chagrin Falls, Ohio; Jim (Sidney) of San Antonio, Texas; and Sam Wild of Wilmot, New Hampshire; and Martha (Bob) Bender of Green, Ohio; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and her sister Deanie Miller and niece Jody Baker, both of the Philadelphia, PA area. She was born in Johnstown, PA, in 1908 to Harry and Martha Hosmer. She lived much of her adult life in Sandusky, Ohio; Los Angeles, California; and the greater Cleveland area. She was an accomplished pianist and organist and vocal soloist. She played the organ at a number of churches in Sandusky, Cleveland and the Los Angeles area. She was a life-long reader and kept abreast of current events until shortly before her death. A memorial service will be held Friday, June 29, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at the Anthony and Son Funeral Home of Green, 4178 Massillon Road (corner of Massillon and Steese Roads entrance off Steese).
