Obituary of Leo William Saccone

Leo W. Saccone, 83, passed away April 20, 2007. He was preceded in death by father John A., mother Clara, sister Martha, brothers Dominic and John. He leaves behind brother Francis. After graduating from Garfield High School, he served in the United States Navy during WWII. He retired from General Tire with over 40 years of service. Leo enjoyed staying active and reentered employment with the City of Cuyahoga Falls. He then retired again and spent his remaining time enjoying golf and his family; wife, Katherine; daughter, Yvonne Licata; and grandson, Nickolas Licata. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends. The family will receive friends Monday 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Anthony & Biscan Funeral Home, 4178 Massillon Rd. (corner of Steese and Massillon Rds. in Green), where a parish wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Interment will be held Tuesday, 10:00 a.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 2569 Romig Rd. where VFW Post 3383 will conduct military services.
