Obituary of Helen Federonick

Helen Federonick, 91, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2012 at Maison Aine Care Center. Helen was born September 26, 1920 to John and Helen (Melnick) Varonich in Akron and had been an Akron resident her entire life. She was happy as a loving wife and mother. Helen was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years Peter in 1991, her infant daughter Mary Ann and siblings George, Pete and John Varonich , Julia Gebhart, Ann Hartmann and Maria Velka She is survived by her children Patricia Biller, Helen (Linn) Weaver and John Federonick; grandchildren Vera Biller and Kristin Weaver. Helen never had a harsh word for anyone, was always encouraging and had empathy for others stronger than her concern for herself. The family will receive friends Thursday 5 to 8 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S.
