Obituary of Emre Serdinak

Emre C. Serdinak(Emmy), 89 Emre C. Serdinak,89, died Sunday March 18,2007 at his residence. Mr. Serdinak was born in Akron June 2, 1917, a son of Emre and Mary Helen Serdinak. He worked at BF Goodrich for 42 years, before retiring in 1986. He was a member of Saint Mary's Catholic Church in Akron. He was a veteran of the US Army during WWII. He was preceded in death by parents;brothers, Joe and John; and sister, Leona. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, the former, Mary Reid; children, Mary Jane(Michael)Dorka, Jeffrey (Donna) Serdinak, Gerald Serdinak, and Thomas (Star) Serdinak; 5 grandchildren: and 3 great-grandchildren, one of whom he helped raise. Funeral services will be Thursday 9:30AM at Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Funeral Home, 95 W. Waterloo Rd. and Mass of Christian Burail to follow at 10:00 AM at Saint Mary's Catholic Church.
