Obituary of Dolores Jean Kilroy

Dolores Jean Kilroy Dolores Jean Kilroy, 83, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, June 28, 2012 at her home. Dolores was born January 10, 1929 to Robert and Virgie (Hargis) Duke in Akron and had been an area resident her entire life. She was a 1947 graduate of South High School and active with the alumni association. She loved animals and wrote poetry. She was kind to everyone, loved baking and always put others before herself. She especially loved to listen to her brother Joe sing. Dolores was preceded in death by her beloved husband Thomas and her granddaughter Katrina Kilroy; and is survived by her children Polly (Mark) Bissell, Karen Kilroy and Keith Kilroy; grandchildren Leslie Bissell, Dalek Williams, Brock Brown, Thomas J. Kilroy II and Dolores Jean Kilroy; brothers Joe (Joanne), Bob (Roberta) and Jim (Phyllis) Duke. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S.
