David S. 'Dusty' Earle
David S. Earle 'Dusty', 66, passed away on February 17th, at Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital.
Born April 24, 1940 to the late Clyde and Edna Earle, Dusty had been a lifetime area resident. He retired in 1991 from The Chrysler Stamping Plant in Twinsburg with 30 years of service. He served his country during the Vietnam War as a member of The US Army. Dusty was a member of The VFW Ralph Huff Post 1062, American Legion Post 281, Eagles Aerie 2207, Moose Lodge No. 918, and The UAW Local 122.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Donald. He is survived by his sons David Earle Jr. of FL and Michael, formerly of Kent; daughters Gina and Angela Earle, both of Brimfield; grandchildren Joelle, Ava, and Dalton.
Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5-8 pm at The McGowan-Reid & Santos Funeral Home (at 3rd st., one block north of Portage Trail in the Falls). A Committal of Ashes will be held Wednesday, at 11:00 am, at The Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, where VFW Post 1062 will conduct military honors. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Dusty's name be made to The VFW Ralph Huff Post 1062 1581 Main St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221.
