Obituary of Robert W. Reight

Robert W. Reight, 81, passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2007 in Sandusky, OH. Born in Wellsville, OH in 1925, Bob was both an Akron and Columbus resident, where he worked for The Ohio State University for over 32 years. He served his country as a member of the Army during WWII. He was a member of Firestone Park VFW Post 3383. He was a devoted Steelers and Atlanta Braves fan and enjoyed playing bingo for many years at Perkins Square. Bob was preceded in death by his wife, son Robert and 3 brothers and 1 sister. he is survived by his sisters Betty Lovern, Helen Christian, Freda Tomilson, and Shirley Shaw; numerous nieces and nephews as well as many great-nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the caring staff of The Arbors of Fairlawn and The VA Veteran's Home in Sandusky.\ Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 1:00 pm at the Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Funeral Home 95 W. Waterloo Rd., where the family will receive friends starting at 11:00 am up until the time of the service. Inurnment Lakewood Cemetery.
