Obituary of Elizabeth H. Curtis

Elizabeth H. Curtis, 86, passed away January 15, 2007 at the Aultman Care Center in Canton. Born December 15, 1920 in Akron, to the late Joseph & Christina (Perchi) Steger, Elizabeth had been a lifelong resident of Akron. A homemaker and realtor for Crawford Real Estate Co., she was very active in the Women's City Club, was on the Board of Lenora Hall, Toastmistress, The German-American Club & others. She loved to dance and teaching others to dance brought her much happiness. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Akron home builder, Clarence F. Curtis, who died on the same date 36 years ago. She is survived by her son Edward Curtis and daughters Donna Digman, Michelle Curtis, and Nancy (Tom) Miho; 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; sister Anna Marie (John) Munka, Frances (Glen) Reed, as well as many other family and friends. The family will receive friends Thursday, from 4-7 pm at the Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Funeral Home 95 W. Waterloo Rd. Funeral services will be held Friday starting at the funeral home at 9:30 am and continuing with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am. at St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church on Manchester Rd. Fr.
