Obituary of Frank M. Caetta
Frank M. Caetta, 89, God's humble servant, devoted to his faith and to his family passed away Wednesday January 24, 2007.
He was born in Akron. In his early years, Frank was a fishcutter with Schneirs Fish Market. He was a retired real estate agent and appraiser for Azar-Denholm for over 20 years. He was past president of IFA of Cleveland and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Frank was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church where Frank and Rose where part of group of parishioners who visited area nursing homes. Frank and his band, the Three Pisanos, played in Akron in the 40's and 50's.
Mr. Caetta is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Rose; children Dennis, Frank, Jr. (Elizabeth), John (Pat), Robert (Norma), Christopher (Debra), Daniel (Katherine), Judith (Carl) Vandegrift, Maria Cathers, Susan (William) Tallmon, Monica Schlager, Kathleen (Steve) Baker, and Patricia (Rick) Buster; 35 grandchildren and 43 great grandchildren.
Our family wishes to thank Robin Smith, dad's aide, for her years of care, and also the Ridgewood Hospice Center for their comfort and care.
Funeral services will be held Sat. 9:30 a.m. at the Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Funeral Home, 95 W. Waterloo Rd. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 1034 Brown St. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
