Obituary of Richard E. Rodemoyer

Richard E. Rodemoyer, 77, of Westerville, passed away Thursday, Jan. 11, 2007 at St. Ann's Hospital. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Irene; children Linda (Steffan) Winterhawk, of Casselberry, FL., Barbara (Jerry) Feyh of Lewis Center, OH; grandchildren Kenny, Sarah & Mary Beth Benton, of New Richmond, OH, Alyssa, Lauren & Chloe Feyh of Lewis Center, OH; sister Betty Ann Moore of Bradenton, FL; nephews Rick (Christine), Bob (Nancy) and Ron (Sue) Moore; sisters-in-law Julia Pakurar and Mary Elseg of Akron, OH, niece Elaine (Gregg) Nahas, nephew John (Jill) Elseg. Born in Akron, OH, Richard retired as a Chief Master Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force as a field maintenance supervisor in the Strategic Air Command. He retired to Grove City, OH. Then spent 20 years in Tavares, FL, where he faithfully served at the First Baptist Church as a deacon and treasurer. He returned to Ohio in 2004. He was a 32nd degree Mason. Funeral services will be held Monday, Jan. 15, at 11:00 a.m. at the Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Funeral Home, 95 W. Waterloo Rd., Akron. Rev. Rory Wineka officiating. Interment Rose Hill Burial Park.
