Obituary of Dolores Claretta Nickolich
Dolores Nickolich, 83, passed away Friday January 5, 2007 at Akron General
Medical Center after a brief illness.
She was born in Nanty Glo, Pa., had been an area resident for most of her
life and a Green resident since 1960. She was a member of Queen of Heaven
Catholic Church.
Mrs. Nickolich was preceded in death by her husband Anton in 2003,
granddaughter Jessica Esker and several brothers and sisters; and is
survived by her daughters Diane (Richard) Eskers of Portage Lakes and Sharon
(Donald) Eskers of Fairlawn; sons Anton J. (Margie) Nickolich of Springfield
and Richard of Arizona.
She was the 'Greatest Grandmother in the World' to Hilary (Adam) and her
children Abby and McKayla, Heidi (Joe), Becky, Donnie, Norma Jean, Joe,
Kristie, Richard and Adam; 15 great grandchildren; sister-in-law Pat Keefe
of Coventry.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday 9:45am at the Anthony and Biscan
Funeral Home (4178 Massillon Road, corner of Massillon and Steese Rds. in
Green) and 10:00am at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. David
Durkee officiating. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive
friends Monday 4 to 7pm at the funeral home. Donations may be made to the
