Obituary of Sam D. Vitrano

Sam D. Vitrano, 85, passed away on Friday, January 2, 2015. He was born in Akron and was a veteran of the United States Army serving during World War II. Mr. Vitrano was a supervisor at the F.W. Albrecht Grocery Company (Acme) and retired after 34 years of service. He loved his family and his home. He is survived by his wife of 63 1/2 years, Patrycia; sons, Michael (Janel) and Samuel (Karen) Vitrano; sisters, Eva Funk and Rose (Jack) DePaul; sisters-in-law, Sandra Fritch and Deborah (Gary) Petri; cousin, Thomas (Ann) Arconti; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; Becky Haller and Michelle Micochero whom he loved as daughters; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, 11 a.m. at the Anthony & Son Funeral Home of Green, 4178 Massillon Rd. (at the roundabout at Steese Rd.) Uniontown, Ohio 44685.
