Obituary of Charles 'Chad' Heisser

Charles Martin Heisser, 49, passed away unexpectedly on December 31, 2014. Born in Akron on April 3, 1965, Chad was a graduate of Southeast High School and was an Akron resident for most of his life. He served his country as a member of the US Navy and was a drummer in the US Navy Band. Chad worked for the City of Akron since 1991. Chad was an accomplished drummer and enjoyed playing with his band, Shady Daze. Chad was also an avid Steeler's fan since the early 70's. He was a nuclear activist and was known as "Mr. I can see 2" on You Tube. Preceded in death by his grandparents Charles & Irene Heisser, Chad is survived by his loving wife Patty; his children Joe, Jenn, & Jessie Heisser; father Dr. Bert (Ann) Heisser and his mother Leah Heisser; sisters Kim Compton, Brooke (Bud) Cunningham, & Karla (Kevin) Smith, as well as many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and other extended family members. The family will receive friends on Sunday, from 2-5 pm, at the Anthony Funeral Home MCGOWAN-REID & SANTOS CHAPEL, 247 Stow Ave. (at 3rd. St., one block north of Portage Trail) in Cuyahoga Falls. A funeral service will take place on Monday, 12:00 pm, at the funeral home. Pastor Keith McLaughlin officiating.
