Obituary of Betty June Baer

CLARKSTON, MICHIGAN - Betty Baer, 87, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2012 in Hospice Care at the home of her son Steve. Betty was born on June 12, 1925 in Akron, Ohio; was a life long resident of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, and was a member of the First Christian Church. Betty was a graduate of Kent State University, and retired from the Social Security Administration where she was a claims representative. Betty will be remembered for her kind words, gentle touch and loving devotion to her family. Preceded in death by her husband, Milton D. Baer; and son, John M. Baer; she is survived by son, Steve Baer (Mary) of Clarkston, Michigan; grandchildren, Shannon (Brian) Warzecha, Michelle (Julian) Opitz, Josh Baer, Diana Baer, and Eric (Missy) Baer; and 6 great-grandchildren. Graveside service will be held Friday, 2 p.m. at Chestnut Hill Cemetery in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Pastor Gail Lindsey officiating. There are no calling hours.
