Obituary of Victoria Jane Franz

Victoria (Vicky) Jane Franz, 61, passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at the Arbors in Fairlawn. Vicky was born November 28, 1953 to Walter E. and Rita Jane (Zimmerman) Franz, Sr. in Akron and had been an Akron resident all her life. She was employed at Team Health in Medical Billing. Vicky's life revolved around her church, Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She was a Eucharistic Minister and a member of the Contemporary Choir Ministry, Parish Council, and Finance Commission. She worked the Summer Festival, the Bingo Kitchen and Funeral Luncheons. She was also a member and past president of the Altar and Rosary Society. Vicky was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her sisters Patricia and Kathy Franz; brother Walt (Sue) Franz; uncle Al Franz and Aunt Mary Franz; and dear friend Robin Keeling. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 12:00 pm (high noon) in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 2101 17th Street Southwest, Akron, OH 44314 where the family will receive friends from 10 am until the time of services.
