Obituary of Nick Hoaja

Nick Hoaja, 91, passed away Friday, December 5, 2014. He was born in Niles, Ohio and retired from the Brown-Graves Lumber Company after over 40 years of service. He was a cabinet builder and master craftsman. Mr. Hoaja enjoyed fishing, scuba diving, hunting, the outdoors and making things out of wood. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nick and Elizabeth; wife, Eugenia; and brother, Remus. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Nicholas and Jennie Hoaja; daughters, Virginia Donnenwirth and Linda Talley; and grandson, Steven Talley. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, 2 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron, Ohio 44301 where the family will receive friends from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Interment at Forest Hill Cemetery in Canton, Ohio.
