Obituary of Margaret Reiber

Margaret Reiber, 93, passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at Altercare of Hartville. Margaret was born October 6, 1921 to Helen Feiler in Akron and had been an area resident her entire life. She was a graduate of Central High School and was employed at Polsky's Department Store. She was preceded in death by her husband Rex R. in 1989; and grandchildren Rex "Rocky" and Ranee Rae Reiber and is survived by her sons Rex R. (Mary Anne) and Richard R. (Karen) Reiber; grandchildren Andrew, Rachel and Richard; many great grandchildren. She loved to play bingo at the Ellet Senior Center, volunteered at the Haven of Rest and tutored elementary school students. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 am in the Anthony Funeral Home, 1990 S. Main St. Akron, Rev. Jeff Croft officiating. Interment Hillside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday 4 to 6 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Green Valley United Methodist Church, 620 East Turkeyfoot Lake Road, Akron, OH 44319 or the Visiting Nurse Service.
