Obituary of Clara Mae Ostrowski

Clara DiNapoli Ostrowski nee Kuts passed away peacefully on the morning of November 26, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. Clara was born in Akron and was a 1947 graduate of St. Mary's High School. She worked at Akron City Hospital for 19 years and then continued to volunteer after retirement. Clara was a wonderful seamstress, exceptional cook and avid reader. She was a longtime member of St. Paul Catholic Church. Clara had a very kind heart, and was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by parents Wendell and Anna Kuts; and brother John Kuts. Clara is survived by her children, Deborah (Dave) Pickens, Frank DiNapoli, Laura (Nathan) Ritchie, Christopher (Sharon) DiNapoli, Cosmo (Kerie) DiNapoli, RoseAnn DiNapoli; grandchildren Jennifer, David, Jason, Angelina, Amanda, Danyelle, Marcus, Maria, Christopher, Joseph, Anna, Catherine, Megan, Alex; and great-grandchildren Austin, Alexa, Connor, Jason, Olivia, Jayden, Parker, Vinney, Mason, and Joseph Jr. The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, November 28 from 5:00-8:00 PM at the Anthony Funeral Home, Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Saturday, November 29 at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 1800 Steese Road in Green. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation

The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, November 28 from 5:00-8:00 PM at the Anthony Funeral Home, Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Saturday, November 29 at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 1800 Steese Road in Green.
