Obituary of John Muzljakovich
John Muzljakovich, Jr., 67, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2014.
He was born in Akron and was a graduate of Garfield High School Class of 1965. John was a self-employed financial advisor and a veteran of the United States Navy serving during the Vietnam Era and was honorably discharged in 1971.
He is survived by his fiancée, Patti Gmerek; mother, Ruth; aunt and uncle, Beverly and Charles Knapp; several cousins; children, Jeffrey and wife Susan Muzljakovich of Old Saybrook, Connecticut, Dawn Deary of Danielson, Connecticut, Pauline and husband Michael Moore of Danielson, Connecticut, Melissa and husband Timothy Mariano of Hong Kong and John Muzljakovich, III and wife Danielle of Canada; 11 grandchildren, Samantha, Michael, Gene Michael, Taylor, Nicholette, Jacqueline, Gabrielle, Sophia, Mia, Jackson and Alexis; sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Jim Bale and nieces of Akron, Ohio; and he was always very close to his son-in-law and dear friend, Gene Michael Deary.
Funeral service will be held Monday, November 24, 2014 at 7 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron, Ohio 44301 where friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Interment with full military honors will be held Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio.
