Obituary of Anthony J. Marino

Anthony J. Marino, 69, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on October 15, 2014. Born in Akron, March 15, 1945 to the late Nick & Grace Marino, Tony was a lifetime area resident and attended Copley High School. He worked for over 25 years for the Ohio State Department of Liquor Control. He was preceded in death by sisters Mary & Rose and brother Sam. He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 50 years, Leslie; his children Annette (Steve) Petty, Nick Marino, and Christine (Gus) Gerhart; grandchildren Anthony & Chloe. The family will receive friends on Sunday 2-5 pm, at the Anthony Funeral Home KUCKO-ANTHONY-KERTESZ CHAPEL, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron. A funeral service will take place on Monday, 11:00 am at the funeral home, where the family will again receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Akron.
