Obituary of Dorothy Ledean Wyant

Dorothy Ledean Wyant (Lee), 81, passed away after a long illness on Monday, September 29, 2014. Dorothy was born on October 19, 1932 in Parkersburg, West Virgina to Clarence and Alice Spindle. She moved to Akron in the 1950s. Dorothy loved her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her dogs. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Alice and Clarence; her husbands; son Lester Lee; and brothers Charles Ray & James Alfred. She is survived by her children Donald (Susan) Lee, Robert (Rose) Lee, Nancy Weyrick and daughter-in-law Carolyn Lee; siblings Kathryn (Carl) Flinn and Harvey Spindle; grandchildren Donald Jr., David, Dianna, Michael, Vicki, Johnny, Christopher, Dominic, Maddie and Alex; great-grandchildren Aaron, Katherine, Chase, Alison, Austin, & Gracie; and many step-children, step-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends and family on Friday, October 3, from 5-8 PM at the Anthony Funeral Home, Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4, at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Summa, 444 N.
