Obituary of George E. Palmer

George E. Palmer, 77, passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2014. He was born in Mayfield, Kentucky and was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Akron. He retired from Aircraft Braking Systems. George loved the outdoors especially fishing and camping. He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy in 1998. He is survived by his children, Larry, Barry (Kathy), Thomas, Beverly, Michael (Ruth) and David Palmer, Susan (Jeff) Onspaugh, Denise Johnson, Debbie, Michelle and Danny; many grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 750 S. Main St. Akron, Ohio 44311. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, 3 to 6 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron, Ohio 44301.
