Obituary of Tammie Varney-Hale
Tammie Varney-Hale, 50, Sunrise: January 31, 1964; Sunset: August 14, 2014.
She was born in Akron and was a member of the Word of Life Outreach Center. She graduated from Central-Hower High Class of "83. She loved to bake and cook. She had a contagious laugh, a beautiful smile, was very well liked and very gullible. Whenever there was help needed, she was always there.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mildred E. and George Lyons and Ethel and Claude Varney; mother, Linda Varney-Mohn; and uncle, Jim Lyons.
She is survived by her children, Matthew (Lori), Daniel and Rebekah Hale; former husband and father of her children, Bill (Candy) Hale; grandson, Nolan Hale; father, Larry (Diane) Varney; sister, Lorrie (Cesar) Martinez; brothers, Tom (Darlene) and Scott (Michelle) Varney; step-sister, Laurie Trevino; aunt, Jayne Benton; uncle, Dale Lyons; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, 1 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron, Ohio 44301. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
