Obituary of Albert Bakos

Albert Bakos died on Saturday, November 30, 2013. He was born to the late Alex and Julia Bakos on September 13, 1927 in Akron and lived much of his life in Norton. He served in the Army, and later worked for B.F. Goodrich. Albert was a member of the Akron Baptist Temple. He was a member of the Chippewa Gun Club, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Most of all, Albert was a devoted father and grandfather, and he loved and cherished all his grandchildren. In addition to his parents; Albert was preceded in death by his siblings, Frank, Ben and Eleanor. He is survived by his daughters, Kaye (Michael) Waugh and Kathy (Craig) Lanik; grandchildren, Kevin Waugh, Kelly (Chris) Mossa, Tara (Jeremy Ford), Szilagyi, John (Samantha) Szilagyi, Lacey Szilagyi and Chenoa Lanik; and great-grandchildren, Karlie and Michael.

Visitation

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home KUCKO-ANTHONY-KERTESZ Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Chapel Hill Retirement Community, 12200 Strausser Street, NW, Canal Fulton, with Pastor Sandra Hutchinson officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park immediately following.
