Obituary of Veronica Dameff

Whether you called her Veronica, Ronnie or Aunt Ron, she fell asleep in the Lord after a long battle with Alzheimer's on Sunday, June 9, 2013. She was born on November 17, 1921 to Michael and Marie Dameff in Akron and had been an Akron resident her entire life. She was employed for 39-½ years at General Tire with good people she regarded as family. She was a member of St. Elias Orthodox Church and was grateful for the spiritual guidance she received from Fr. Don. Ronnie was devoted to her family and had cared for her parents for many years. Ronnie was preceded in death by brothers, Boz and Peter, and is survived by her sister, Helen; nieces, Susie Schaefer, her husband Al and their son David, Veronica Kelso and family, Anne Marie Armistead, her husband Mark and family, and Debbie Dameff; nephew, Bobby Dameff; sister-in-law, Cleta. Dad, Uncle Mike, Uncle Norm and Aunt Viv, she is on her way. PLAY BALL!
