Obituary of Johnny Shepherd

Johnny M. Shepherd peacefully passed away on May 18, 2012. A 1970 Garfield High graduate, Johnny was a lifelong resident of the Akron area and a Vietnam Warveteran. He was honorably discharged from the Army in 1972. Johnny was most recently employed by Camelot Condominiums. Preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Amy and precious niece, Theresa. He leaves behind loving wife of 30 years, Lynn; his only and favorite daughter, Jennifer. Johnny was the world's greatest grandpa and "best buddy" to Seth. He is survived by siblings, Walter (Ann), Rachel Monroe (Dan) and Daniel (Rosanne), as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. At Johnny's request, his family extends their gratitude to everyone who visited during his illness, with special thanks to Rev. Dave Horner, the Buzzelli, McKee and Fahey families. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 23, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home KUCKO-ANTHONY-KERTESZ CHAPEL, 1990 S.
