Obituary of Mary Sloop
Mary (Brislinger) Sloop passed away October 15, 2012.
She was born September 1, 1916 to Eva and Andrew Brislinger and was married to Roy Sloop, for 42 years. Mary and Roy owned and operated a fishing and hunting camp in Burridge, Ontario, Canada for 35 years. When Mary returned to Akron she loved to crochet for family, friends and Warm Up Akron. She enjoyed playing bingo and doing crafts at New Horizon Senior Center and was known as the "Craft Queen."
Preceding her in death was her husband, Roy and brothers, Joseph, John Mack, Andy and Tony Brislinger. She is survived by nieces and nephews, Ginny (Bob) Krantz, Rosemary (Dick) Brady, Tom (Kay) Brislinger, Judy (George) Ross, Roger (Nancy) Brislinger, Becky Brislinger; and numerous generations of nieces and nephews.
