Obituary of Theresa M. Greenaway

Theresa M. Greenaway, 77, passed away April 5, 2012. Born in Gallitzan, Pa., she had lived in Cuyahoga Falls for 57 years, was a realtor six years, and was employed by National City Bank for 25 years, retiring in 1985. Preceded in death by her parents, John and Madeline (Jane) Whitcore; and brothers, John and Bernard; Theresa is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years, Bob; daughters, Sharon (Tom) Hoffman, Sandra (Tom) Barefoot, and Susan O'Brien; sons, Bob (Judy) and John Greenaway; grandchildren, Shari, Tommy, Andrew, Jennifer, Lisa, Michael, Rikki, Danni, Taylor, Adam, Amanda, Tyler, Emily, and Summer; as well as 14 great-grandchildren. The family would like to extend a special thanks to their angel, Amanda, for her loving care and to the Hospice of Summa team, Deanna, Linda, Bonnie, Joseph Lee, Amy, Stephanie, KIm, and Alethia. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home MCGOWAN-REID & SANTOS CHAPEL (at 3rd. St., one block north of Portage Trail in the Falls). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. James Singler on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 1905 Portage Trail in Cuyahoga Falls. Interment will follow at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Immaculate Heart of Mary, 1905 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223 or to the Hospice of Summa, 444 N. Main St., Akron, OH 44310.
