Obituary of Adeline Miller
Adeline (Addie) Miller, 88, of Green, Ohio, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Friday, March 16th, 2012. She was born on July 8th, 1923 in Belmont County, Ohio.
Preceded in death by mother, Wanda and father William Wodiske; and sister, Elizabeth Magyar. Survived by husband, Mike; sisters, Violet Robinson and Pearl Kral; and brother, Ernest Wodiske; sons, Robert of Green, Ohio, Tom (Lois) of Green, Ohio, Ted (Cheryl) of Bolivar, Ohio; and daughters, Barbara Miller (Wayne) of West Barnstable, Mass., Theresa Heyde (Jim) of Homosassa, Fla., Cammy Miller of Green, Ohio, Lisa Barr (Ed) of Akron, Ohio, Cindy Miller Andres (Jim) of Berlin, Germany; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Addie was a devoted Catholic, wife and mother whose love and faith in God sustained her through several years of physical suffering with the utmost patient endurance. She will be fondly remembered for her sweet smile and caring blue eyes, her love of daily Mass, and praying the Rosary. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Addie was a registered nurse in the Navy and served during World War II. She enjoyed her years as a home maker raising her eight children, gardening, baking, cooking and making the best pierogies and haluski in the world.

Family will receive visitors Wednesday, March 21, 2012 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church in Green, Ohio. Funeral Mass will follow. As a committed nurse Addie donated her body to medical science. Interment will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Queen of Heaven Church for the flower fund.
