Obituary of Dodie Phillips
Dodie Phillips, 91, passed away peacefully at home, on February 24.
Born on October 17, 1920, Dodie lived her entire life in Northampton Township. She was a member of Northampton United Methodist Church.
Dodie was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton 'Dilly' Phillips; son-in-law, William Ross; and sister, Bessie Ramsey. She is survived by her daughter, Judith Ross; grandson, Scott (Betsy); great-grandsons, Aaron (Kaitlin), Adam, and Andrew; adopted family, Mike and Barbara Hersman; brothers-in-law, Earl (Elaine) Phillips, Ronald Greenleaf; and many nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to the Hospice of Summa, especially Tom, Mary Beth, Angela, and Trish. Extra special thanks to nieces, Patsy and Martie and nephews, Rob and Ric for all of their care and compassion.
Funeral services will take place on Monday at 12 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home MCGOWAN-REID & SANTOS CHAPEL (at 3rd. St., one block north of Portage Trail in the Falls), where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Northampton United Methodist Church, 852 W. Bath Rd., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223.
