Obituary of Martha Vronick
Martha Vronick passed away peacefully February 6, 2012.
Born in Akron, she was a graduate of East High School. She was fortunate to live in many different places, and loved traveling the world. Martha retired as a manager from Publix Super Markets. She was a parishioner of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, a member of the pierogi pinching team, a hall volunteer, and a member of the Akron Orthodox Club. She loved her cats and dog. Watching her dear granddaughter Madison dance the ethnic Russian dances gave Martha great joy.
Martha was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mary Vronick and is survived by her daughters, Sonia Kovach and Danette Kovach, and her granddaughter Madison Kovach. She is also survived by her sisters, Mary Bezbatchenko and Dolores Christiansen, brother, Martin Vronick (RoseMarie), as well as many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will take place Friday, February 10 from 6 to 8 p.m. at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, 55 South Cleveland Avenue, Mogadore. Parastas service will begin at 7:30 p.m., with Father Nicholas Wystlusky officiating. Funeral service will be held Saturday, February 11, at 11 a.m. at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, with Martha lying in state one hour prior. Burial will be at St. Nicholas Orthodox Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions in Martha's memory to the St. Nicholas Orthodox Church Chandelier Fund. May its light remind us of Martha, and may her memory be eternal.
