Obituary of Patricia Livigni
Patricia Livigni, 86, went home to the Lord after a longtime battle with Alzheimers disease on June 13, at Bath Manor in Fairlawn.
Born in Akron on March, 17, 1928 to the late John and Rosemary Marchese, Pat had been a lifetime area resident. She was a lifetime member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Akron, where she was a member of the Ladies Guild. Pat was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 3410 Ladies Auxiliary and was a volunteer for the Council's fish frys.
In addition to her parents; Pat was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John in 1995 and her brothers, Joseph and Vincent. She is survived by her children, John (Linda) of Coventry, Mark (Anna) of Tucson, Ariz., Denise (Michael) Buccigross of Green, and Andrea Livigni of Akron; as well as ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren;, and many beloved nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Mary Ferro of Pa. and Dorothy Livigni of Manchester.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Pam, as well as the rest of the staff at both Bath Manor and the Hospice of Summa for the loving and compassionate care given to their mother.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Matthew Pfeiffer on Tuesday, 11 a.m., at St. Paul Catholic Church, 1580 Brown St. in Akron, where the family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Summa, 444 N. Main St., Akron, OH 44310 or to the Humane Society of Greater Akron, 7996 Darrow Rd., Twinsburg, OH 44087.
