Obituary of Elizabeth Zelenka

Elizabeth (Betty) Zelenka, 86, passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2014. She was born in Akron and was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. Mrs. Zelenka was preceded in death by her parents, Steve and Mary (Olla) Treml; husband, George; son, Joseph; and granddaughters, Kimberly and Angela Brandl. She is survived by her children, Judy (John) Brandl, John (Jennifer) and Jim Zelenka; and grandchildren, Steven and Shana Zelenka, Jeff (Liz) and Nick Brandl. Funeral service prayers will be held Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at 9:15 a.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron, Ohio 44301 followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, July 14, 2014 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
