Obituary of Barbara Ann Butler

Barbara Ann Butler passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at her home. Barbara was born January 18, 1932 to Edward and Catherine (Pfeiffer) Kramer in Millvalle, Pa. and had been a Green resident most of her life. She was a member of Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Barbara considered her family her gift from God. She was first a loving wife to her husband of 59 years, Dale and from that love came her chance to live her vocation as a mother to Eileen (Robert) McMahan, Retta (Gary) Lewis, Ed Butler, David (Sarah) Butler, Diane (Dennis) Rafferty and Barbara Naegeli. Then she was blessed with grandchildren, Robert and Amanda McMahan, Jason (Lisa), Carrie and Justin Davidson, Neal and Ellen (Todd) Jones, Daniel and Katherine Butler, Jessica (Morgan) Helmick, Rebecca and Samuel Rafferty and Jennifer and Christopher Naegeli; and finally, the blessing in scripture, her children's children's children, Joshua, Jacob and Jessie Davidson, Violet and Cooper Jones and Julianne Helmick. She also leaves sisters, Margaret (Robert) Kennihan and Theresa (Robert) Stephen. Funeral service will be held Friday, 11 a.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Green Chapel, 4178 Massillon Road (in Green at the intersection of Massillon and Steese Rds., entrance off Steese). The family will receive friends Friday, 10 a.m. until the time of service.
