Obituary of Wayne A. Cincurak

Wayne A. Cincurak, 70, died Saturday December 25, 2010 at his home. Wayne was born December 30, 1940 to the late Andrew and Lucille (Sandrene) Cincurak in Akron and had been an Akron area resident his entire life. He worked for General Tire and when General moved to Charlotte, N.C., Wayne moved with them. After retirement, he returned to Ohio and lived the remaining years of his life in Hartville and worked part time driving hearses and limos for the Anthony Funeral Homes. Wayne proudly served his country in the Navy. His favorite pastime was volunteering at the Bridgestone Invitational at Firestone Country Club for over 30 years. He met and was on a first name basis with many of the professional golfers. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed everything about the sport from playing to watching it on television to attending the Masters Tournament in Augusta, Ga . He was a Free and Accepted Mason in Joppa Lodge, 32nd Degree, member of the Tadmor Shrine and a member of the FOPA Lodge 6. Wayne is survived by his longtime companion, Marjorie Brock and her family, Coren, Gregg, Molli, and Zach; sons Douglas (Debbie) and Mark (Kelley); grandchildren, Danielle, Maggie, Lauren, Landrey and Averi; brothers, Andrew, Donald (Jackie) and Richard (Jan); nieces and nephews, Amy, Matthew and Mitchell; and was preceded in death by his son, Richard and sister-in-law Barbara. A Remembrance Service will be held TONIGHT 8 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Green Chapel, 4178 Massillon Road (at the intersection of Massillon and Steese Roads in Green, entrance off Steese) where the family will receive friends TONIGHT from 4 to 8 p.m. Masonic Service will be held TONIGHT at 7:30 p.m. Donations may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, Office of Development, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607, www.shrinershq.org
