Obituary of Sheryl K. Seloover

Sheryl K. Seloover, 53, died Monday, December 20, 2010 at her home. She was born September 6, 1957 to Michael and Marilyn (Cochran) Miletich in Akron and had been an area resident her entire life. She received her Bachelor and Master Degrees in education from The University of Akron. She taught 4th and 5th grade in the Green Local Schools for ten years until retiring due to her illness in 2008. Her fervor for educating children began with her own daughters and blossomed into her career. In addition to her parents, Sheryl is survived by her husband of 27 years, Mark; daughters, Laura Ann and Jennifer Marie Seloover; brother, Kenneth (Denise) Miletich; sister, Janice (Brian) Stottler; and was preceded in death by her grandmother, Grace Cochran in 2002. Memorial service will be held Thursday, 7 p.m. at the Anthony & Biscan Funeral Home, 4178 Massillon Road (intersection of Steese and Massillon Roads in Green, entrance off Steese). The family will receive friends Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. There are no others services, cremation has taken place.
