Obituary of Benjamin Emerson Probert
Benjamin Emerson Probert (Richards), 23, passed away suddenly at his home in Akron on Wednesday, December 8, 2010.
He was born in Akron on April 17, 1987, where he lived for his entire life. Ben graduated from Akron North High School in 2005. He previously attended Stark State College, where he began studying real estate and was attending The University of Akron studying business and real estate at the time of his death.
Ben enjoyed life to the fullest and was constantly seeking a new adventure. He loved the beach and swimming as well as hanging out with his friends. He wanted to be a successful businessman someday, and had many small business ventures, including his own eBay account by the age of 13. His passion was making (and spending) money. From grade school age on he carried a tax chart in his pocket that was given to him by a bank teller and he would always check it to make sure he was charged the right tax on his purchases. Ben was outgoing, vivacious, witty, charming, ornery and friendly to all he met. You had to like him even if you tried not to.
He is survived by his mother, Edna Kay Boyd Probert; dad, Richard Kindig, Jr. and father, Timothy Richards; grandparents, Ima Gene Boyd and Richard and Pat Kindig; sister, Kayla Kindig; brother, Brandon Richards; aunts, Angie (Bob) Johnson, Barbara Boyd, Donna (Russ) Barnhart, Kim (Roy) Fuller, Lynn (Greg) Schott, Melanie Richards; uncles, Dale (Patricia) Boyd, and Mike (Andrea) Kindig; cousins, Bobby Johnson, Kara (Jason) Johnson Ledford, Neal (Emily) Johnson, Cory (Stephanie) Barnhart, Amber Barnhart, Hannah Barnhart, Nathan Fuller, Megan Schott, Emily Schott, Tyler Richards, Jackson and Joshua Richards-Jarvis.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, December 14th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Funeral Chapel, 1990 South Main Street, Akron, OH, 44301.
One of his favorite quotes was ``Stay true to the dreams of thy youth'. ttfn Ben, you will be missed.
